Rukungiri District Yet to Disburse UGX 851 Million Under PDM 

Rukungiri: Rukungiri District Commercial Officer, Keith Ainebyoona, has revealed that 77.3% of the received Parish Development Model (PDM) funds have been disbursed, leaving UGX 851 million yet to be utilized. 

Speaking from his office at the district headquarters on March 26, Ainebyoona stated that Rukungiri District received UGX 3.75 billion, with each PDM SACCO receiving UGX 50 million as the first tranche of the funds. 

He confirmed that so far, UGX 2.899 billion has been disbursed, accounting for 77.3% of the allocated funds. However, he expressed optimism that the remaining UGX 851 million will be fully disbursed by the end of March this year, achieving 100% fund distribution. 

Ainebyoona further noted that they expect to receive the remaining tranche of funds before the end of June, ensuring that each SACCO receives the full UGX 100 million as planned.
