The international day for Nurses and midwives is celebrated annually May 12, but will be celebrated on May 17, 2024 in Rukungiri main stadium.

However there will be a series of events on 15th and 16th May where Nurses will have a conference at immaculate heart girl’s school in eastern division, Rukungiri, Municipality.

This year’s celebrations will be held under the theme, ”Our Nurses our future, the economic power for care”.
