Nyakibale Development SACCO Unveils New Building to Boost Operations
Rukungiri: Nyakibale Development SACCO has officially opened its new building, a milestone aimed at enhancing its operations and improving service delivery.
The inauguration ceremony took place on March 16 at the SACCO’s office in Nyakibale Trading Centre, Kagashe Ward, Eastern Division, Rukungiri Municipality.
The Pastoral Coordinator of Kabale Diocese and the guest of honor Rev. Fr. Ndagijimana Fidel, urged SACCO leaders to follow the example of Jesus by teaching and guiding others, particularly in financial literacy. He emphasized the importance of educating members to make informed financial decisions.
Fr. Ndagijimana also commended Rt. Rev. Bishop Callist Rubaramira of Kabale Diocese for his commitment to fostering development within the diocese. He encouraged SACCO leaders to extend their impact beyond parish projects to individual households, promoting sustainable development at all levels.

Meanwhile, the Parish Priest of Nyakibale Parish, Rev. Fr. Conrad Atuhaire, highlighted that the new building is a project of the parish, made possible through collective prayers and community effort. He described it as a testament to the power of faith.
Fr Atuhaire encouraged the public to place prayer at the center of their lives, emphasizing that faith can unlock endless opportunities and blessings. Fr. Atuhaire further noted that the development will not only benefit the parish but also create job opportunities, contributing to economic growth.
Additionally, he revealed that Nyakibale Parish plans to construct two more buildings before the end of the year.

The SACCO Board Chairperson Fortunate Akanyihayo, stressed the importance of unity among members and encouraged them to take full advantage of SACCO services.
SACCO Manager Peterson Kazire urged members to take pride in their ownership and actively support the SACCO, reminding them that its success is their success as well. He revealed that the SACCO now boasts over 10,000 members.
The new building was completed at a cost of UGX 500 million.
