Bishop Akanjuna confirms 186 into Anglican faith.

Rubanda: The Bishop of the Diocese of Kigezi, the Rt Rev Gaddie Akanjuna on Tuesday Confirmed 186 Confirmants into Anglican faith during a service at St. Mark Kagyera Church of Uganda Parish in Kacerere Archdeaconry, Bufundi Sub County in Rubanda West County Rubanda District.

In his sermon, Bishop Akanjuna encouraged Christians to have faith in God, regardless of the challenges they may encounter in their journeys. Bishop Akanjuna commended Christians for their commitment to the Word of God, urging them to adhere to the principles and guidelines set forth by the Church as a means to achieve prosperity.

 He implored the confirmants to establish a spiritual connection with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit they received, and stressed the importance of respecting their parents.

 Bishop Akanjuna emphasized the need for unity within families, pointing out that modern times have witnessed an unfortunate increase in family discord, which hinders the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
