Bishop Ruhindi SS Dedicates 211 Candidates Ahead of UCE and UACE Exams
Rukungiri: Bishop Ruhindi High School in Kebisoni Town Council, Rukungiri District, has held a dedication service for 211 Senior Four and Senior Six candidates ahead of their final UCE and UACE examinations.
The dedication service was held on October 7, at Kakinga Church of Uganda in Central Ward, Kebisoni Town Council.
While preaching during the service, the Archdeacon of Kakinga Archdeaconry in North Kigezi Diocese, the Ven. Andrew Kananura, urged the candidates to stay focused, set clear goals, avoid distractions, and put their trust in prayer, reminding them that everything comes from God.
Rev. Kananura also urged the candidates to remain disciplined and maintain the good legacy of Bishop Ruhindi. He advised them to accept the strictness of their parents and teachers, saying it is intended to prepare them to become responsible and valuable people in the future.

The Chaplain of Bishop Ruhindi SS, Rev. Moses Tugume, said the school is confident that the candidates will perform well because they have been mentored, taught, and guided throughout their studies.
He said the school has given the learners the knowledge and skills needed to make their parents and guardians proud.

The Deputy Headteacher, Prudence Asasiirwe, urged the candidates to overcome fear, remain confident, and stay focused on their studies. She also encouraged them to follow the school’s rules and regulations.
Asasiirwe said Senior Four has 141 candidates, while Senior Six has 70 candidates, bringing the total number of candidates to 211. She confirmed that all the candidates are well prepared for the examinations.

Some students who spoke to our reporter, including Owembabazi Zebia and Emmanuel Ainebyoona from Senior Six, and Promise Atwijukire from Senior Four, expressed confidence in their teachers.
They said their teachers have given them the knowledge and guidance needed to excel in the examinations and that they are ready for the final papers.
