Christ Believers Fellowship Church Celebrates 8 Years of Ministry in Rukungiri

Rukungiri: Christ Believers Fellowship Church in Rukungiri has celebrated eight years of ministry and service to the community.

The celebrations were held on August 2, at the church premises in Rungongi Cell, Eastern Division, Rukungiri Municipality.

Speaking during the event, the founder of the church, Evangelist Alfred Mugarura Kaharata, said the eight-year journey has been marked by God’s faithfulness.

Mugarura said the church started in a temporary structure but now worships in its own permanent building. He added that the church remains committed to preaching the Gospel and serving the community.

The Speaker of Rukungiri District Council, Albert Ahabwe Rwamugata, who attended the celebrations as the chief guest, encouraged Christians to work hard to fight poverty in their families. Rwamugata also urged them to embrace government wealth creation programmes, including the Parish Development Model (PDM), to improve their livelihoods.

Some members of the church, including Pastor Annebel Ayebare, Cynthia Tusiime, Phoebe Namara, and Godfrey Nasasira, thanked God for the church’s eight years of existence. They testified that many people who came to the church seeking healing have recovered through faith and prayer, saying God has remained faithful throughout the ministry.
