
Youth Urged to Reflect and Build a Strong Foundation in Christ
Rukungiri: The Archdeacon of Nyabitete Archdeaconary Rev Ven. Enock Karamuzi, has called on youth to reflect on their actions and identify areas for self-improvement to achieve their life goals.
Karamuzi made the remarks on Janaury 24, during the closing of a four-day youth conference for Kitojo Parish under Nyabitete Archdeaconry in Buyanja Sub-county. The conference, held at Kinyasano Girls High School in Kinyasano Ward, Western Division, Rukungiri Municipality, aimed to empower young people to strengthen their Christian faith and face real-world challenges.
Ven. Karamuzi emphasized the importance of equipping youth with the confidence and resilience needed to succeed in life. He also stressed that spiritual growth and bearing fruit require strong roots in Christianity, urging the youth to establish a firm foundation in Jesus to remain steadfast during life’s trials.

Ordinand James Tindimwebwa from St. Luke Rugarama C.O.U and one of the conference organizers, noted that the primary goal of the event was to help youth deepen their roots in Christianity and build a strong foundation in Christ.
He encouraged young people to take advantage of opportunities in society and to boldly defend their faith.
Participants, including Kiconco Mercy from Kasheshe Church of Uganda, Tracy Nayebare from Nyabitete Archdeaconry, and Abraham Tugineyo from St. John’s Kitojo Church of Uganda, shared their experiences from the conference. They expressed their commitment to becoming valuable resources in their communities and to deepening their understanding of Scripture.
