Sheik Byaruhanga hails Country Radio’s support to Moslem community.
Rukungiri: The Rukungiri District Kadhi Sheikh Kayole Abdulmalik Byaruhanga, has extended heartfelt gratitude to Country Radio for providing weekly airtime to the Muslim community, an offer rarely given by others.
Speaking at Rukungiri Main Muslim Mosque on Wednesday June 19, 2024 after donating beef to Country Radio in celebration of Eid Al-Adha, Sheikh Byaruhanga commended the station’s manager, Jackie Tumuheirwe (Auntie Jackie), the staff, and directors for their continuous love and cooperation with the Muslim community.
He promised to continue sharing whatever little they have with Country FM.
On her part Jackline Tumuhairwe, the country radio manager thanked the Rukungiri Muslim community, led by Sheikh Byaruhanga, for their kind gesture. She pledged to continue supporting the Muslim community in spreading the message of Allah to his people.
On Sunday June 18, 2024, Muslims worldwide marked Eid Al-Adha, to commemorate the Prophet Ibrahim’s readiness to sacrifice his son as a sign of his obedience to God, during which they sacrifice permissible animals, generally goats, sheep, and cows.
