Over 100 Students Accept Christ at Kashenyi Secondary School Conference
Rukungiri: Over 100 students at Kashenyi Secondary School in Rukungiri District have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
This happened on June 8, during the conclusion of a spiritual conference that started on Friday, June 6.
The three-day event was organized to bring students closer to God, help them focus on their future, and promote both academic and personal growth.
The Diocesan Education Secretary for North Kigezi Diocese Rev. Muntrive Nashangaruhanga, noted that while some students drop out of school, faith-based guidance helps them stay focused and set goals for their lives.
He also encouraged all schools under the Diocese to organize such conferences and liturgical programs at least once a year.
