Nyakishenyi SS Nangara holds mega conference, preachers charge students on discipline.
Rukungiri: Students at Nyakishenyi Secondary school Nangara in Nyakishenyi sub-county, Rukungiri district have been urged to shun the sinful life and turn to Jesus Christ if they are to have a better future.
The call was made on Thursday June 11, 2026 by the North Kigezi Diocesan secretary Rev Muntrive Nshabaruhanga during a one day student’s conference held at the school’s premises.
The conference drew students and pupils from different schools in Rukungiri and Kanungu districts.
Rev Nshabaruhanga told students that Jesus Christ forgives every sin and once a person repents, he turns everything on to him new. He thus charged them to shun their old sinful life and allow Jesus to renew their lives.

The Missions coordinator for Kinkizi diocese Rev Godfrey Byamukama on his part asked students to stay away from fornication saying it deprives them of their dignity in the communities they live in.
He further said that indulging in fornication while in school may have a living effect on students even after they have grown and got married.
