Ntungamo: Modern Institute of Business and Studies has celebrated a milestone, graduating 83 students during its first-ever graduation ceremony held at the school premises in Park Ward, Eastern Division, Ntungamo Municipality.

Speaking at the event on March 14, the Academic Registrar, Johnson Nuwahereza, revealed that among the graduates, 37 were male and 46 were female. The institute awarded five diplomas and 78 certificates across various courses.

Nuwahereza urged the graduates to remain professional, ethical, and exemplary in their respective fields.

The Assistant Private Secretary to the President of Uganda Caroline Kembabazi who was the chief guest, commended parents for prioritizing their children’s education. She emphasized that the skills acquired by the graduates would serve as a lasting legacy in their careers.

Kembabazi also cautioned female graduates against workplace exploitation and condemned sexual harassment at work. She encouraged women to uphold their values and not compromise their dignity in exchange for job opportunities.
