Ingrid Turinawe Kamateneti Donates Shs20M Scholastic Materials to Kahororo and Kiyaga Primary Schools.

Rukungiri: The former aspiring Member of Parliament for Rukungiri Municipality Ingrid Turinawe Kamateneti under her organisation of TIK foundation has donated scholastic materials to pupils at kahororo primary school in kahororo cell eastern division and Kiyaga primary school in Northern ward Western Division, Rukungiri Municipality.

The donated items worth over 20 million shillings include sanitary pads, mathematical sets, Pens, Books, Rubber, pencils, and others. 

Kamateneti told our reporter that she chose to help pupils with scholastic materials at these schools because it was necessary as their parents are struggling financially.

The head teacher of Kiyaga primary school Patience Kusiima thanked Kamateneti and Tik foundation for supporting her school.

She noted that Over 500 pupils from kahororo primary schools benefited from Kamateneti’s kind gesture.

Kahororo primary school deputy head-teacher Rachael Komujuni revealed that girls at the school have been struggling with concentration in classes due to lack of sanitary pads. She said Kamateneti’s aid will help them to focus on their studies.

Over 600 pupils at kahororo primary school received scholastic materials from the TIK foundation.
