Rukungiri: Graceland Academy Nursery and Primary School held its second graduation ceremony on November 28, at the school premises in Kigyina cell in Katobo, Rukungiri Municipality, where 25 pupils graduated from Top Class to Primary One.
The Headteacher Simon Akamanya, expressed gratitude to parents for entrusting the school with their children. He urged them to continue supporting their education, emphasizing that nurturing them well would prepare them for a bright future and make them exemplary representatives of the school.
The Deputy Resident District Commissioner for Rukungiri district and Guest of Honour Wilberforce Ahimbisibwe Ongom, questioned why some parents prioritize university graduations over nursery ones, noting that such early milestones inspire children to love education and pursue success. He assured the school of efforts to lobby for a UNEB center number through the Minister for Security, Maj. Gen. Jim Muhwezi.
