Couples Urged to Build Marriages on Trust as Gad Kasigazi Weds Recheal Nembabazi in Rukungiri
Rukungiri: Wedding couples have been urged to build their marriages on trust if they are to have stable and lasting families.
The message was delivered by Rev. Prof. Medard Birungibyayesu of World Shine Ministries during the wedding ceremony of Gad Kasigazi and Recheal Nembabazi held on May 16, at Emmanuel Cathedral Kinyasano, the headquarters of North Kigezi Diocese in Rukungiri Municipality.
Rev. Prof. Birungibyayesu said trust is the foundation of every successful marriage and called on couples to remain honest, faithful, and open with one another.
Presiding over the wedding service, Rev. Prof. Birungibyayesu told the congregation that without trust, marriage becomes filled with fear and suspicion, making it difficult for love and unity to flourish.
He emphasized that when husbands and wives fully trust each other, they create peaceful homes where challenges can be solved together through understanding and cooperation.
During the ceremony, Gad Kasigazi and Recheal Nembabazi exchanged vows before God and the Church, pledging to love, honor, and support each other in their new journey as husband and wife.
Speaking during the reception held at Rozera Gardens in Rwakabengo, Rukungiri Municipality, Kasigazi thanked God for enabling him to reach the special day he had long waited for.
He also expressed gratitude to his parents for raising and supporting him from childhood to adulthood, saying they played a significant role in shaping his life.
Kasigazi further thanked Rev. Prof. Medard Birungibyayesu for guiding and helping him grow spiritually in Christ over the years.
