Bwanga High School Celebrates 100% Pass Rate in 2024 UCE Exams

Rukungiri: Bwanga High School in Rukungiri District is celebrating a remarkable achievement after all its candidates passed in Result One in the 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams.  

During the celebration held at the school premises in Bwanga Parish, Nyarushanje Subcounty, Rukungiri District, the headteacher, Herbert Turyasingura, expressed gratitude to students, teachers, parents, and school committees for their commitment and hard work, which ensured this success.  

Turyasingura acknowledged that the new lower secondary curriculum initially caused confusion among parents and students in understanding the results. However, the school authorities stepped in to explain the grading system, addressing numerous inquiries from parents about the results.

The Director of Studies, Fortunate Barisigara, highlighted that the school is thrilled by the outstanding performance of all 96 students who achieved Division One. She attributed the success to several factors, including dedicated teachers and a conducive learning environment.
