Bwanda Hiika Wins 2024 Inter-Hiika Christmas Carol Competitions

Rukungiri: Bwanda Hiika has emerged victorious in the 2024 Inter-Hiika Christmas Carol Competitions held at Nyakibale Parish grounds in Rukungiri Municipality, Rukungiri District on December 22. 

The one-day event, organized by Nyakibale Parish, brought together 18 Hiikas out of the 22 in the parish. Bwanda Hiika claimed first place with an impressive score of 88%, followed closely by St. Mary’s Nyakibale with 87.5%, and St. Denis Nyakibale, which scored 85.5%. 

Nyakibale Parish Priest Rev. Conrad Atuhaire commended the choirs for their outstanding performances and dedication, noting significant improvements in this year’s competition compared to previous years.

He expressed gratitude to the participants for their hard work and commitment, even traveling long distances to fulfill their promises.
