Bishop Onesimus concludes his first phase of maiden pastoral Visits to parishes in North Kigezi Diocese

Rukungiri: The bishop of North Kigezi Diocese, Rt Rev Onesimus Asiimwe on Wednesday concluded his tour of Kakinga Archdeaconry, bringing to 8 the number of archdeaconries visited in the diocese out of 13.

Bishop Asiimwe concluded the first phase of his maiden visits to parishes at St. Thomas COU Kakibaya parish, where he challenged Christians to get out of their comfort zones and seek Jesus as the biblical Zachaeus did, and also confirmed 50 individuals into the Anglican faith.

The bishop together with his wife, Maama Florence Asiimwe commended Kakinga archdeaconry Christians for the warm welcome and the many gifts they were offered. The bishop announced that he will resume parish visits next year.
