Assistant RDC Karazarwe Urges Parents to Support Senior Four Candidates During Exams.
Rukungiri: As Senior Four candidates across the country resumed their Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams on October 14, 2024, Rukungiri Assistant Resident District Commissioner, Mirembe Mabel Karazarwe, has called on parents of day school students to give their children more time to read during this critical period.
Speaking from her office at the Rukungiri District Headquarters on October 14, Karazarwe noted that many parents involve their children in domestic chores, especially in the evenings, which limits the students’ study time. She emphasized that this puts day scholars at a disadvantage compared to boarding school students.
Karazarwe urged parents to provide the necessary support and resources so their children can focus on their exams without added stress, especially as they are the pioneers of the new curriculum.
She also commended teachers for their hard work and dedication and wished all the candidates success in their exams.
