Defend your education- Inspector Tuzareirwe charges girl child.

Ntungamo: The Ntungamo district inspector of schools in charge of Rushenyi county Mr Robert Tuzareirwe has asked girls to work hard and defend their education dilemma in the current generation to convince the world that girl child education is still important.

Presiding over the ceremony for the thanks giving over good performance in UACE and UCE for the Ntungamo Girls high school in Rwentobo sub-county, Ntungamo district on 10^th March 2024, Tuzareirwe said some communities still devalue girl child education and it’s only the girls themselves to work hard and prove such doubters wrong with their performance and the value they give to their families after education.

The school director Justus Gumisiriza Keishari said discipline is more key in education especially in performance of a girl child that even with better results and degrees, it’s hard for some people to live confortable lives because they lacked discipline when they were in school.

The school was the best ranked in Ntungamo district with a 14points average per student. 3 of their candidates got 20 points, 7 got19 points, 3 scored 18 points among others. Bests performing students received gifts from the school.
