Rukungiri: Police in Rukungiri district have arrested three men and a mother of two children over mobile money fraud.
The four whose identities were concealed not to jeopardize the investigations were on Wednesday 06th March 2024 apprehended by a team of police officers led by the DISO Rukungiri from Nyabikuku village in Rushasha parish, Nyakagyeme sub-county, Rukungiri district.
The Officer in Charge (OC) at Rukungiri Central Police Station ASP Micheal Kisakye told our reporter that the four were identified by the victim of their theft act, Gumenawe Lovian from Rushasha Nyakagyeme sub-county whom they defrauded on Tuesday 05th March 2024 and disappeared with unspecified amount of money.

ASP Kisakye explained that the four are still in police custody. He called upon victims of these fraudsters to come forward and avail them with more information as investigations continue.
