Bishop Onesimus Welcomes Armidale delegation to North Kigezi Diocese.

Rukungiri: The Bishop of North Kigezi Diocese Rt Rev Onesimus Asiimwe and his wife Mama Florence Asiimwe on Sunday July 7, 2024, welcomed a team of 9 people from Armidale Diocese, Australia.

The Bishop of Armidale Diocese Rodney Chiswell who is also the team leader with his colleagues will be facilitating at the Clergy conference with their spouses starting today Monday July 8, 2024.

The conference is expected to run for 5 days.

The team was welcomed with a dinner at the Bishop’s residence.

In his remarks, Bishop Onesimus thanked the Diocese of Armidale for the partnership in ministry with North Kigezi diocese hinting on the programs such as the Next Generation Conference that have been initiated by Armidale Diocese.

Bishop Onesimus also paid tribute to the Bishops of North Kigezi Diocese who initiated this partnership with Armidale Diocese revealing that the current clergy ought not to forget what other leaders left in place.
