Practice patience-Rev. Natuhwera advises students.

Rukungiri: Students from various institutions of learning in Rukungiri district have been called on to be patient as they strive for better tomorrow, knowing that God will cloth them with success, if they accept his light and guidance.

This call was made by the Director Makerere College of Business and Computer Studies in Rukungiri Municipality, Rev. Ronald Natuhwera while exposing the bible to the students who were attending a two day conference at the college grounds, that climaxed on Sunday.

Rev. Natuhwera, referring to the conference theme derived from the book of 1 Peter 2:9, “Have a right attitude towards yourself”, challenged students to allow God to change their lives, so that a positive change can take place in their families. He told them to believe that they are acceptable, valuable, capable and forgiven.

The North Kigezi Diocesan Youth and Children Ministry Coordinator, Rev Andrew Kananura noted that Christianity is a wonderful thing that happens to them if accept the light of God to shine in their lives. He challenged them to come out of the hiding and allow God to make them real Christians.

Other speakers at the conference were Deacon Nicholas Turyahabwe Nebirungi, the acting chaplain of Kashenyi Secondary School and Patricia Niwasiima, the assistant Youth Chairperson for North Kigezi Diocesan Youth in Kampala.

Institutions that attended the conference include Nyakibale Ladies Vocational Training College, Victory International College, Gables Vocational Training Institute, and Kanyinya Vocational Institute, while secondary schools included Rukungiri Central High School, Rwabukoba SS, and Kashenyi SS.
