Parents Urged to Prioritize Affordable Schools as Brain Trust Celebrates 2024 PLE Success
Rukungiri: Parents have been encouraged to send their children to schools they can afford instead of competing with their neighbors.
This advice was given by the chairperson of the School Management Committee John Ndengire on January 24,, at Brain Trust Nursery and Primary School in Kasoroza Trading Centre, Nyakagyeme Sub County. He was speaking during a celebration of the school’s excellent performance in the 2024 Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE).
Out of 33 pupils who sat for the PLE, 32 passed in Division I, while one pupil scored Division II with 13 aggregates.
Ndengire also advised the successful pupils to remain focused and disciplined as they transition to secondary school. He cautioned them against joining peer groups that could derail their progress.

The headteacher of Brain Trust Nursery and Primary School, Agasha Wilber, attributed the school’s success to the discipline and hard work of the pupils, the strong bond between teachers and learners, and the cooperation between parents, teachers, and pupils.
Ninsiima Olivia Kwijuka, a parent of a pupil who scored four aggregates, thanked God for her child’s achievement.

Some of the pupils who attended the celebration expressed gratitude to God for guiding them through their primary education. They also thanked their parents and teachers for their support, which helped them achieve great results.
