UPDF interviews are for July-Says DRDC Ongom
A total of 98 shortlisted candidates in Rukungiri District will next month (July) sit for interviews that if passed will allow them to join the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF).
The Rukungiri Deputy Resident District Commissioner (DRDC), Wilberforce Ongom Ahimbisibwe told our reporter that the interviews will commence on 1st July 2024 and will be conducted at the District Headquarters in the office of the District Internal Security Officer (DISO).
He further mentioned that among the shortlisted candidates, 22 are females.
UPDF Deputy Spokesperson, Col. Deo Akiiki, announced previously that the list of successful candidates is available online and at the offices of the RCCs and RDCs across the regions.
The UPDF will conduct a general recruitment exercise for 9,627 regular forces into the Infantry across the country.
