The lay leader of Kafunjo C.O.U has been transferred to Kibunda

Rukungiri: The lay leader of Kafunjo Church of Uganda, located in Kafunjo village, Buyanja Sub-county in Rukungiri District, Israel Mfitumukiza has been transferred to Kibunda Church of Uganda.

Mfitumukiza has served at Kafunjo Church of Uganda for four years. While addressing the congregation on January 26, he expressed confidence that God will continue leading him and encouraged fellow lay leaders to work tirelessly to strengthen God’s kingdom in Uganda and beyond.

On the same day, the church also welcomed a new lay leader, Amerius Mwebembezi, who has been transferred from Rwentuha Church of Uganda in Rwakirungura Parish, Kyamakanda Archdeaconry, North Kigezi Diocese.

Mwebembezi thanked God for the responsibility entrusted to her and pledged to work closely with Christians at Kafunjo Church of Uganda to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ
