Stick to your marriage Vows- Rev Gumisiriza tells couples.
Rukungiri: Couples have been urged to always respect the people that normally attend their marriage ceremonies, by sticking to their marriage vows.
This call was made on Thursday May 16, 2024 by the deputy Regional Overseer of Rukungiri Full Gospel Churches, Rev. Charles Gumisiriza while preaching at the giveaway ceremony of Caroline Owembabazi, daughter to Rev. Naphtali Nahabwe, the diocesan secretary for Rukungiri Full gospel church diocese.
The ceremony took place at their home in Nyeibingo Kebisoni, Rukungiri district.
Rev Gumisiriza expressed concern that many couples get into marriage while they have not made up their minds to stay there, while others despise the partners once they become rich.
This he said is detestable to God, who began the institution of marriage and ordained it.
On his part, Rev Nafutali Nahabwe thanked her daughter Caroline for being God fearing, thus entering marriage the God’s way.
He requested his son in law Elly, to ensure there will be no separation even for a single day
The colourful ceremony was attended by many clergymen and women, including Pr. Sylvia Anguyo and his husband Dr Geoffrey Anguyo of Kigezi Healthcare Foundation (KIHEFO), Bishop Cleophas Habyarimaana, Regional Overseer of Rukungiri Full gospel churches and his retired counterpart, Bishop Christopher Makanda.
