St Mark SS Nyakibale Pioneer students Excell in UCE

Rukungiri: The pioneer candidates at St Mark Nyakibale secondary school in Bagidadi cell, Nyamayenje ward, southern division, Rukungiri municipality are jubilating after excelling in the Uganda Certificate Examination (UCE) 2023.

According to the UCE 2023 results released by the Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) on 15th Febuary 2024, out of the 55 candidates who sat the exams at St Mark Nyakibale secondary school, 31 came in division one, 12 in division two, 8 in division three and 4 in Grade four, becoming the 3rd best performing school in Rukungiri District.

The school headteacher Fortunate Akanyihayo Rukundo thanked God for the good performance and attributed their success to prior preparations by both the teachers and students.

She commended the parents who entrusted them with their children and described the student’s performance as a surprise. 

Raymond Rukundo, the St Mark Nyakibale secondary school director on his part appreciated God for the good results. He equally thanked parents, students and the entire St Mark family for working hard towards achieving this success.
