Rukungiri Tycoon Ambrose Kibuuka Tumwesigye Picks NRM Nomination Forms for 2026 Rujumbura MP Race.

Rukungiri: Rukungiri businessman Ambrose Kibuuka Tumwesigye has officially joined the race to represent Rujumbura constituency in Parliament by picking up nomination forms for the upcoming elections.

Kibuuka, a prominent entrepreneur and National Resistance Movement (NRM) supporter, collected his expression of interest forms from the NRM Electoral Commission offices in Kampala on June 5.

He is the Executive Director of several companies, including Site Man Construction Company, Sena Graphic Company, and Tiger Security Agency. Kibuuka is also the former Chairperson of the MK Movement in the Kigezi Subregion, making him a notable figure in both business and political circles.

Speaking to our news reporter in a phone interview, Kibuuka Timwesigye said he is determined to offer development-oriented leadership to the people of Rujumbura.

“I have picked these forms with a heart full of hope and commitment to serve my people. Rujumbura deserves better services, improved infrastructure, and youth empowerment. I believe with my experience and networks, I can deliver that,” he said.

Kibuuka also urged the public, especially the youth, to actively participate in leadership processes and support candidates who focus on development.

“Our people need leaders who are action-oriented and ready to speak for them. I encourage citizens to remain peaceful, united, and focused as we head toward the elections,” he added.

Kibuuka’s entrance into the race is expected to shake up the political landscape in Rujumbura as the 2026 general elections draw closer.
