Rukungiri: St. Jerome Secondary School Mourns Form Four Student’s Death

Authorities and students at St. Jerome Secondary School Ndama, Kebisoni Sub County, Rukungiri District, are mourning the death of Desire Akankunda, a form four student.

Akankunda, who was set to sit for her Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams in October this year passed away from heart complications.

According to school officials, she fainted while in class and died on Sunday September 22, 2024 while being rushed to Karol lwanga hospital Nyakibale.

The deceased was a resident of Garubunda Parish, Kebisoni sub-county, Rukungiri district.
