Rukungiri Ghetto Youth Hold Patriotism Training, Declare Support for President Museveni
Rukungiri: The Rukungiri Ghetto Youth have held a patriotism training and resolved to mobilize support for President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and other NRM flag bearers ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The meeting, held at Rukungiri Main Stadium on October 19, was led by the Rukungiri District NRM youth cadre, Robert Nuwamanya.
According to Nuwamanya, the session aimed at training youth and ghetto members in patriotism to help them love their country and prepare to welcome and cheer President Museveni, who is expected to visit Rukungiri on November 26 as part of his campaign trail.

He explained that Rukungiri youth and ghetto members no longer support the opposition, noting that they are now part of the group seeking re-election for President Museveni. Nuwamanya said they are eager to meet the President when he visits Rukungiri to share with him the challenges they face and to endorse him as their sole candidate. He also appealed to NRM authorities to facilitate their participation in the visit.
The Rukungiri Ghetto Chairperson, Isaac Mugumya, and the Secretary, Chrispus Taremwa, pledged to continue mobilizing for votes in favor of the NRM and requested support to help them develop themselves and improve their household incomes.
