Rukungiri Assistant RDCs Urge Public to Maintain Peace Ahead of Tomorrow’s Elections

Rukungiri: The Assistant Resident District Commissioners of Rukungiri District (ARDC’s), Kallen Kagisha and Mabel Mirembe Karazagwe, have called on the public to maintain peace during tomorrow’s elections.

While appearing on a talk show on Country Radio, the two assistant RDCs expressed concern that some individuals may attempt to incite violence during the election process. They emphasized that such actions are not acceptable and warned that anyone found violating the electoral process will face arrest.

The officials assured the public that security personnel are fully prepared to ensure a peaceful voting exercise. Kagisha and Karazarwe encouraged all eligible voters to go to their designated polling stations and participate in the elections in an orderly manner.

They also reminded the public that the purpose of the election is to choose responsible and capable leaders, not individuals who seek power for personal gain.
