Rotaract Club Rukungiri Donates Scholastic Materials to P7 Candidates Ahead of PLE
RUKUNGIRI: The Rotaract Club of Rukungiri has donated scholastic materials to Primary Seven candidates at Rukungiri Primary School as they prepare for their Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE) scheduled for early next month.
The donated items included a set of examination papers, mathematical sets, and pens. The handover event was led by the club president, Davis Arineitwe, and took place at the school premises on October 1, in Southern Division, Rukungiri Municipality.
Arineitwe was accompanied by fellow Rotaract members Anitah Owoheirwe and Rabbeca Katusiime, both teachers at Immaculate Heart Girls School Nyakibale.
Speaking during the event, the Rotaract team emphasized that with over 40 active members, their club is committed to giving back to the community. Supporting students, especially candidates preparing for national exams, is one of their priorities. They noted that this donation is also a gesture of encouragement, wishing the learners success in their final exams.

The team advised the pupils to make good use of the remaining time by reading hard, noting that PLE exams are a critical bridge to secondary education. They also highlighted that donating exam papers would help learners revise effectively, especially during the current teachers’ strike.
