Rev Nshabaruhanga tips Kashenyi SS students on Success.

Rukungiri: Students at Kashenyi secondary school in Ruhinda sub-county, Rukungiri district have been advised to have a vision in life and work towards achieving it if they are to have better future days.

The call was made on Monday April 21, 2025 by North Kigezi Diocesan Education Secretary Rev Muntrive Nshabaruhanga who was speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony for senior one and senior five students held at Kashenyi secondary school premises.

The function also featured the rewarding of mattresses to best performers in the recently released 2024 Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) and Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) results.

Rev Nshabaruhanga said people who are successful in their latter days had vision in their early days which they strived hard to achieve.

The school’s chairperson Board of governors Rev Can Geoffrey Mutabazi commended students for choosing Kashenyi secondary school as their school and asked them to be determined in their pursuit of success.

The school headteacher Rev Ivan Mwongyera officially welcomed the new students to the school and urged them to make good use of the available facilities if they are to succeed.

He further revealed that a total of nine students received gifts of mattresses from the administration as a sign thanking them for performing better in the previous national exams.

Rev Mwongyera said this will motivate the current students to work extra hard to attain better grades since good performance at the school comes with rewards.

Ezra Nabasa and Abot Akatwijuka who represented senior one and five students respectively thanked the administration for admitting them at Kashenyi secondary school and promised to abide by the school rules and regulations.

Rev Mwongyera told our reporter thet the school has already admitted 235 students in senior one and 170 students in senior five. He is however optmisitic that the enrollment in these classes will go higher the coming term.
