Rev Kananura advises parents to share their financial woes with children

Rukungiri: Parents have been challenged to always share their financial inadequacy status with their children mostly in these times when they are preparing to go back to school.

The call was made by the North Kigezi Diocese children, youth and health Coordinator Reverand Andrew Kananura while interacting with our reporter on phone.

Kananura said if children don’t know how parents are struggling financially, they can never appreciate their parents’ hard work.

He advised parents to pray for blessings to their children.

Kananura further advised children to always listen to their parents and teachers because they are their only way to future times.

He urged them to set their own goals and work hard towards achieving them, mostly those in candidate classes.

Kananura hailed teachers who have always done the good work of naturing children by instilling discipline in them. He called on them to be role models and mentors of the pupils they teach.
