Rev Julius Niwagaba Applauds Revival in North Kigezi Diocese During Mission at Nyakaina Church of Uganda
Rukungiri: The North Kigezi Diocesan Missions Coordinator, Rev. Julius Niwagaba, has applauded the spiritual revival taking place across North Kigezi Diocese under the leadership of Rt. Rev. Onesimus Asiimwe, the diocesan bishop.
Rev. Niwagaba made the remarks on August 3, during a Spirit-led one-day mission held at Nyakaina Church of Uganda in Kyamakanda Archdeaconry, where he served as the service leader.
He expressed his gratitude for the renewed commitment to ministry witnessed in various churches and specifically commended the leadership of Nyakaina Church for maintaining a vibrant mission center.
During the same event, the Archdeacon of Kakiinga Archdeaconry and first preacher of the day Rev. Andrew Kananura, warned Christians against becoming captives of invisible forces, saying the worst kind of prison is being trapped by things that cannot be seen.
Rev. Kananura called on the faithful to spread hope to those who feel like giving up, reminding them that victory belongs to those who trust in the Lord, because all things in the world belong to Him.
