
Rev. Frank Asiimwe Installed as Parish Priest of St. Andrew’s Rwakirungura C.O.U
Rukungiri: Rev. Frank Asiimwe has been officially installed as the parish priest of St. Andrew’s Rwakirungura Church of Uganda Parish under Kyamakanda archdeaconry in Buyanja Sub-County, Rukungiri District.
While preaching during the service on September 12, the Archdeacon of Kyamakanda Archdeaconry, Rev. Polycarp Katwesigye, urged Christians to always support their church leaders instead of becoming a burden to them as they spread the word of God.
Ven. Katwesigye also encouraged Christians to live in peace and harmony so that they may inherit eternal life, reminding them never to get tired of doing good while on earth.

Christians, represented by their senior warden, Sabiiti Eric Bernard, pledged to work closely with Rev. Asiimwe to ensure the development of their church.
In his remarks, Rev. Frank Asiimwe thanked all those who have supported him and his family. He promised to cooperate with Christians in fulfilling the development goals of the parish and asked them to join hands in achieving the diocese’s targets.

Rev. Asiimwe, 51, began his ministry as a church lay leader in Nyabugando, Bwambara, and Karyamacumu. In 2019, he was ordained as a Reverend and posted to Kakyibaya. On January 15, 2025, he was transferred to Rwakirungura C.O.U, where he officially took up his new role yesterday.
He is married to Annet Asiimwe, and together they are blessed with nine children.
