Rev. Ainebyoona Urges Christians to Live in Repentance to Enjoy God’s Blessings

Ntungamo: The Director for Mission and Outreach in South Ankole Diocese, Rev. Augustus Ainebyoona Byabagambi, has urged Christians to live a life of repentance if they want to continue enjoying God’s blessings and favor.

Rev. Ainebyoona delivered this message on October 19, while closing the annual Mugyera Mission Conference at St. John’s Mugyera Church of Uganda. The conference, which began on the 16th, ended on October 19.

He reminded believers that true revival begins with humility and repentance before God, adding that sin creates a barrier between Christians and the blessings they long for.

He also challenged the youth to turn away from sin and fully embrace Christ, stressing that sin remains the biggest challenge among today’s young people. He urged them to actively participate in church life beyond occasional attendance and called on church leaders to mentor them into deeper spiritual growth and conviction.

The Parish Priest of St. John’s Mugyera Church of Uganda, Rev. Tito Tayebwa, said the conference has greatly impacted the lives of Christians in Mugyera Parish.

He also reminded believers that as the country enters the political season, they should remember that politics is not the only defining aspect of life. Rev. Tayebwa emphasized the importance of focusing on other values such as personal growth, building strong relationships, volunteering, and helping the needy.
