
RDC Nsubuga Bewayo Hands Over Office to Deputy Wilberforce Ahimbisibwe Ongom in Rukungiri
Rukungiri: The Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Rukungiri, Steven Nsubuga Bewayo, has officially handed over office to his deputy, Wilberforce Ahimbisibwe Ongom, following his transfer to Pakwach District.
The handover ceremony took place this evening July 31, at the RDC’s office at Rukungiri District headquarters. It was witnessed by Rukungiri District Internal Security Officer (DISO) Christopher Wachaya, the Deputy DISO, and two Assistant RDCs.
In his farewell speech, Nsubuga Bewayo, who served in Rukungiri for four years and three months, thanked his security team for their support during his time in office.

RDC Nsubuga encouraged the incoming RDC to maintain good working relationships with staff to ensure continued development in the district.
He reminded those present that RDCs can be transferred anywhere in the country and urged locals to cooperate with the new leadership to improve service delivery.
Nsubuga Bewayo handed over the office key, stamp, case files, and an inventory list of all office items to Wilberforce Ahimbisibwe Ongom, who will now serve as the Acting RDC.

In his remarks, Ongom Ahimbisibwe Ongom said he is already familiar with the good work of his predecessor and plans to continue from where he left off.
