
RAVETA Choir Celebrates 25 Years in Ministry
Rukungiri: The Rukungiri Adventist Victory Evangelist Team Association (RAVETA) Choir has officially celebrated 25 years of ministry in a colorful event held at Rukungiri Main Stadium, Southern Division, Rukungiri Municipality.
Speaking at the celebration on August 17, Rukungiri Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Bron Kikashemeza, who represented the Guest of Honour, the Minister of Security and Rujumbura County MP, Gen. Jim Muhwezi urged church leaders to desist from dividing Christians. He further encouraged believers to be capable of living harmoniously as true witnesses of faith.

The Bishop of the South Western Adventist, Edward Muwanga, emphasized that singing is a symbol of fellowship, joy, and victory. He encouraged choir members to serve with one heart and a fulfilled spirit, producing harmonious and spiritually uplifting music.
Bishop Muwanga also urged the faithful to embrace unity, love, and cooperation to strengthen their ministry.

RAVETA Choir Chairperson, Frank Twimukye, revealed that the choir needs 45 million shillings to build a music studio in Rukungiri. He noted that the choir has already produced 7 albums, each with 8 songs.
Twimukye also expressed gratitude to choirs from across western Uganda under the Adventist Church who came to support the event and the launch of the new album, saying their solidarity was a clear sign of brotherhood in spreading the gospel through music.
