Peace Rugambwa Launches Campaign for President Museveni’s Re-election in Ankole and Kigezi
Ntungamo: The Chairperson of Boona Bagaigahare Nyekundire Group and newly appointed Senior Presidential Advisor on Agriculture, Peace Rugambwa, has launched a campaign to mobilize support for President Yoweri Museveni’s re-election in the Kigezi and Ankole sub-regions.
The campaign was officially launched on October 15, at Nyabugando Playground in Rwentobo Town Council, Ntungamo District.
Rugambwa said the group has started renewing its structures across the region and that each member of Boona Bagaigahare Nyekundire Group in Rwentobo Town Council has received UGX 100,000 to boost their household income.
She explained that she has begun empowering Boona Bagaigahare members in some parts of Western Uganda, urging the public to remain patient and confident as they wait for further government support ahead of the upcoming presidential elections.
Rugambwa called on group members to embrace patriotism and loyalty to the National Resistance Movement (NRM), saying unity and cooperation will help them reach the President and benefit from government programs.
She also encouraged Ugandans to work hard, stay united, and fight poverty in order to achieve development in their families.
“I am ready to work hand in hand with President Museveni through the Boona Bagaigahare initiative,” Rugambwa said.
