Parents Urged to Train Children with Discipline, Vigilance, and Prayer
Rukungiri: Parents have been advised to raise their children with discipline, vigilance, and prayer as a way of shielding them from the growing moral decay in today’s society.
The call was made on September 7, by Evangelist Alfred Mugarura Kaharata while preaching at Christ Believers Temple in Rugongi Cell, Rwentondo Ward, Eastern Division, Rukungiri Municipality.
Evangelist Alfred also urged parents to be cautious about who they entrust their children with, warning that perpetrators are always on the prowl.
He further encouraged Christians not to judge others, stressing that God is in charge and can promote humility, compassion, and understanding among people. He asked believers to renew their mindset and make plans that align with God’s will, with the ultimate goal of experiencing and reflecting His glory.

Speaking at the same service, Pastor Annabel Ayebare urged Christians to repent from their sins as the only path to experiencing God’s glory, drawing her message from Matthew 4:17.
She emphasized that without repentance, believers cannot see the glory of God, adding that repentance leads to spiritual renewal and a deeper relationship with Him.
Pastor Ayebare encouraged Christians to reflect on their actions, seek forgiveness, and realign their lives with spiritual principles.
