Parents Encouraged to Uphold Discipline and Prioritize Education

Rukungiri: Parents have been urged to instill discipline in their children and prioritize education as a sustainable family legacy.

This call was made on November 25, by Gilvazio Kamusiime, a former pupil of Kinyasano Boarding Primary School and a lecturer at Bishop Stuart University and Kyambogo University. He delivered his message as the guest of honour during the school’s 12th graduation ceremony, held at the school premises located in Kinyasano Ward, Western Division, Rukungiri Municipality.

The colorful event saw 94 learners promoted from Nursery Top to Primary One.

Kamusiime applauded parents for their continued commitment to their children’s education, assuring them that their sacrifices will yield significant benefits in the future.

The Rukungiri Principal Municipal Education Officer, Robert Agume, commended the school’s head teacher and management for the commendable work done. He encouraged parents to spend quality time with their children during the holiday and engage them in domestic tasks to build responsibility and life skills.
