Bushenyi: There was excitement and celebration at Parental Care Nursery and Primary School in Bushenyi as the school officially launched and installed new leadership under the EarlyAct Club.

The event, held on June 20, at the school premises in Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality, marked the official chartering of the club, with members pledging a year of service and positive impact in their communities.

Speaking at the function, Bushenyi-Ishaka Municipality Mayor Richard Byaruhanga commended the school for its outstanding role in promoting academic excellence and for reaching this significant milestone.

He noted that the school has consistently contributed to the municipality’s top performance in the Uganda National Examinations over the years.

The President-elect of the Rotary Club of Bushenyi, Prisca Kyomukama, praised the school for laying a strong foundation for pupils and encouraging them to make a difference in society.

The head teacher, Desmond Tayebwa, said the EarlyAct Club’s main objective is to support orphaned and underprivileged children by providing them with scholastic materials.
