North Kigezi Mothers Union President Urges Women to Be Trustworthy in Families.

Rukungiri: The Mothers Union President of North Kigezi Diocese, Joan Kyanshemeza Mutuugi, has urged women to be trustworthy and respectful to their husbands to promote harmony in families.

Kyanshemeza made the remarks on June 1, while preaching at Kafunjo Church of Uganda in Kyamakanda Archdeaconry during the celebration of Mary’s Day.

Joan Kyanshemeza expressed concern that some women deceive and cheat on their husbands by changing names in their phone contacts to hide the truth. She advised women to respect their husbands and do good, saying this will help them earn love and trust in return.

She also cautioned women against engaging in witchcraft and misusing their tongues, warning that harmful speech destroys families and communities.
