North Kigezi Diocesan Secretary Urges Youth to Build Strong Christian Foundations at Kinyasano Conference
Rukungiri: The North Kigezi Diocesan Secretary, Rev. Canon Erick Bingana Mugyezi, has called on the youth to remain deeply rooted in Christianity, establish strong foundations in Jesus Christ, and grow in wisdom and all aspects of life.
Bingana made these remarks on January 21st, during the opening of a youth conference under St. John’s Kitojo Parish, Nyabitete Archdeaconry, held at Kinyasano Girls High School in Kinyasano Ward, Western Division, Rukungiri Municipality.
Rev. Canon Bingana urged the youth to focus on academic growth, maintain discipline at home, and actively participate in youth conferences that prepare them for a bright future both spiritually and morally by steering them away from worldly temptations.

Rev. Nathan Muhumuza of St. John’s Kitojo Parish also encouraged the youth to embrace such conferences for spiritual and personal growth. He explained that the primary goal of the event is to help young people grow spiritually in God’s grace.

The youth leader from Kitojo Parish Allan Abasa, highlighted that the conference focuses on nurturing spiritual growth, fostering friendships among youth from different areas, and developing their talents through activities such as football, volleyball, and other games.

Participants like Mercy Akakwasa from St. John’s Kitojo Church of Uganda, Bright Muhoozi and Ampumuza Faith from St. Luke-Rugarama Church of Uganda shared their motivation for attending the conference. They expressed their desire to understand the gospel better and strengthen their Christian faith.
