Muslims Urged to Be Faithful and Support the Needy During Ramadan

Rukungiri: Muslims have been urged to remain faithful and share with the less fortunate during Ramadan so that Allah may reward and protect them.

The Rukungiri District Khadi Sheikh Abdul Malik Byaruhanga Kayole, made this appeal during an interview with our news reporter at his office on March 5. He emphasized that fasting is a key way to strengthen one’s relationship with Allah.

Sheikh Abdul Malik encouraged Muslims to support those who wish to fast but lack food for breaking their fast, assuring them that Allah will protect and answer their prayers during this holy month.

He also advised sick or weak individuals not to fast, as fasting is meant for those who are physically strong. Instead, he urged them to join in prayers, believing that Allah will hear and respond to their supplications.
