Mother Care Nursery and Primary School Acquires Nursery Section License, Urges Parents to Value Education.
Rukungiri: The Director of Mother Care Nursery and Primary School, Cosma Ebyarimpa, has thanked the Government of Uganda and God for granting the school an operational license for its nursery section.
Speaking during the school’s general meeting with parents held at Rugando Cell, Nyakinengo Parish, Nyakagyeme Sub-County in Rukungiri District on August 20, Ebyarimpa also marked the official closure of the second term. He urged parents to remain committed to educating their children despite the challenges of school fees, reminding them that the future of a child is through education.
Ebyarimpa emphasized that the school stands on three pillars—parents, teachers, and learners. He called on parents to prioritize education and pay school requirements on time, while also urging teachers to improve discipline, report to school on time, dedicate enough time to learners, and avoid distractions such as using phones during lessons.

Deputy Headteacher, Magret Musiimenta, pledged that the school’s candidates will perform well in the forthcoming PLE exams. She also appreciated parents for entrusting the school with their children.
Director of Studies, Arthur Mubangizi, commended teachers for their commitment and encouraged parents to allow children to do homework on their own, only assisting them with guidance rather than doing it for them.

The guest of honor, Inspector of Schools Topher Nuwamanya, praised Ebyarimpa for establishing the school, saying it contributes greatly to government efforts in promoting education. He advised parents to provide meals, especially lunch, for learners, noting that it is difficult for pupils to concentrate on an empty stomach.
He also warned against frequently changing children from one school to another and cautioned the public to avoid energy drinks that have become common on the market, saying they are harmful to health.
