Metropolitan International University holds 6th graduation
Kisoro: The state Minister for National Guidance Godfrey Baruku Kabyanga has implored Graduates to be innovative and creative in a bid to fight unemployment.
Kabyanga was speaking on Friday February 23rd 2024 as a chief guest at the 6th graduation ceremony of metropolitan international university in Kisoro town.
Over 1600 students graduated with master’s degrees, bachelors degrees, diplomas and certificates in different academic disciplines.
Minister Kabyanga noted that the government of Uganda is incapable of employing all Uganda who excel in education thus urging graduates to start up their own business to promote socio-economic transformation in the country.
The state minister for children and youth affairs in the Ministry of gender, labor and social development Sarah Mateke Nyirabashitsi urged parents to educate children since it’s the only thing they can inherit from them.
The vice Chancellor metropolitan international university Dr Julius Arinaitwe urged the graduates to use the resources they acquired during their course of studies as they work well in various places they will be employed.
