Rukungiri LC5 Aspirant Angello Twinomuhangi Found Tied Up and Dumped Near Mineera Bridge

BREAKING NEWS: Independent LC5 chairperson aspirant Angello Twinomuhangi for Rukungiri district is in critical condition after he was reportedly found tied up with a USB cable and dumped outside his car near Mineera Bridge, which separates Kebisoni and Nyarushanje Sub-Counties.

According to a resident who preferred anonymity, Twinomuhangi was attacked by unknown assailants, today January 6, between 9:00pm and 10:30pm. The attackers allegedly pulled him from his car, tied his hands behind his back and the mouth, and later abandoned him at the bridge.

He was rescued and is currently receiving treatment at Karoli Lwanga Hospital, Nyakibale in Rukungiri District. The motive of the attack is still unknown, as the victim is currently unable to speak.
