Lawyer Eliab Naturinda Defeats Minister David Bahati in Ndorwa West NRM Primaries

Kabale: The State Minister for Trade, Industry and Cooperatives (Industry), Hon. David Bahati, has lost the Ndorwa West Constituency NRM parliamentary primaries to lawyer Eliab Naturinda Mporera.

According to the official results announced by the Kabale District NRM Registrar, Barbrah Ainebyoona on July 17, Counsel Naturinda received 25,027 votes, while Minister Bahati garnered 23,759 votes.

Naturinda, who is only 32 years old, thanked voters for trusting him and promised to serve with humility.

“I promise to be a servant, not just a leader,” he said.
